Fair lucifer kneels chained in front of an altar to God. He has been cut off from creation in the cruelest manner. His eyes have been staked, his mouth sewn shut, his skin has been flayed numb, and his nose and ears have been chopped off and plugged with biting maggots. Through a hole carved into his throat, he praises God in a hoarse gurgle, a mockery of the beautiful songs he would sing an eternity ago. Satan could fool Adam and Eve, the children in the Garden, but he cannot fool God, Lord of all. Satan sings only for himself, in hopes that enough praise would deliver him from his fate, but God can see into the evil in his heart. So there he stays, in his own personal corner of Hell.
A cross glitters on the altar, reminding you of your folly.
